Little Flicker Friend
I woke up this morning and what did I hear,
A tap, tap, tippity tap, close by my ear,
I opened my window and looked left and right,
And there was little flicker tapping with delight !
His visits were quite often all through the summer days,
And so we took his picture and hoped that he would stay.
Like this delightful little flicker,
